Clubs & Activities
Student clubs create small communities that attract people who share the same interests. Club activities develop a sense of unity and teamwork learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals.
Various Co-Curricular Activities are held under different clubs to develop a child physically, morally, socially and mentally and to hone skills in co-scholastic areas, Regular Club Activities are held in every year in which the students participate and display their caliber.
Clubs are inaugurated every year by distinguished dignitaries. We have Tamil Club , English Club, Maths Club, Science Club, Humanity Club, Health Club and Quiz Club. Club Coordinators offered programmes to enrich the students’ talents and potentials the form of club activities.
Extra Curricular Activity (ECA)
Extra Curricular Activity (ECA) is the activity that fall outside the realm of the normal curriculum of school performed by the students, increases positive self-development and self–esteem.
In our school, we regulate Classical Dance, Classic Music, Yoga, Karate, Silambam, Chess, Skating, Hindi, Drawing, Western Dance, Skating, French and Keyboard in the regular timetable to develop their and performance qualities to the maximum.
English Literary Club
English Literary Club of E.S Matric is an organ of motivational force to many aspiring students who want to excel in language. It aims to introduce the young readers of English language to the vast world of English Literature. The purpose of ELC is to create an interest in reading and understanding the aesthetic and moral beauty of English Literature in the form of various programmes and competitions like Role Play, Poetry Recitation, Character Parade, Drama, Short Story Writing, Verse Writing, Mono-Acting, Oratorical Competition, Literary Quest, Fun with Pun, Phonetic Transcriptions and Literary Quiz.
Tamil Literary Club
Tamizh such a vibrant language. Tamil Literary Club gives opportunities to the students to showcase their talents in Essay Writing, Elocution like Ulagalaviya Alavil Tamizh, Senthamizh Paesungal, Drama, Thirukural Recitation, Varthai Vilayattu, Kavithai, Draw ng Competition- Sanga Illakiya Katchigal, Illakkiyathil Oviyam, Sorpore (lexical words), etc. The aim of the association is to identify the oratory and other individual skills of the students and encourage their abilities. Every year TLC conducts Literary Association meetings and also arranges talks by distinguished guests and prominent orators for the benefit of the students.
Hindi Literary Club
Hindi language holds a very important part in the nation’s functioning and assures bonding among citizens. It connects the individuals and society through inked truths and ideas, which are based on facts, this move enhances our management. In order to promote Hindi language, Our Management initiates Hindi Club in school premises. HLC encourages the students to read and write the language. To make it accessible, it organized various activities from lower classes onwards.
Maths Club
In Mathematics Club, students learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify its facts through a variety of activities. Students participate in the activities like Mathematical Talent, Play with Numerals, Logic Puzzles & Sudoku, Math Fun Mathematical Models. The co-ordinators conduct Exhibitions, in which the participants collect information about great Mathematicians and simultaneously Project Work was done.
Science Club
Science Club activities help the students to bring out their hidden knowledge by helping them to gain experience for their future. Every month TSC opts the student to choose a topic of their own interest and let them to display their projects in the exhibition. The faculty incharge guide the students to do Working Models. National Science Day celebrated grandly in school premises in order to ensure their scientific knowledge. E.S Group of Institutions organized “Veetuku Oru Vignani” in association with Puthiya Thalaimurai & Science Expo from 2016 the successive years continuously. The participants from various institutions encouraged E. S. team for their meticulously planned programme and teamwork. Over a functions were really a grand success. The participants expressed and requested the E.S team to organise abundant programmes and activities in the future also.
Humanity Club
Humanity club offers a systematic study of man and its relationship with society. It offers functional knowledge of social science and inculcates abilities, skills, attitudes and values that would help children to become useful citizens of society. It is an integral part of the co-curricular activities of social science. This club plays a great role in the study of social science in detail.
Computer Club
The Computer Club is an active club in our school. It comprises a team of passionate and organized youths who are interested in learning about the advanced technology of the 21st century. The objectives of the Computer Club are to widen the perspectives in INFOCOMM Technology and allow them to get hands-on experiences with media. The students can learn different multimedia skills using existing software, such as Adobe Flash, Game Maker, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and 3D modeling software, and constantly trying out new programs. By using various software, E.S’ians become more tech-savvy and efficient, which is definitely a benefit in the 21st century. Experienced and friendly trainers ensure that members are well prepared for competitions and help them through problems, should they happen to encounter any.
Health Club
Health Club should be the active members for all activities under health. They need to involve in educating the other people in regard to substance abuse, diet and nutrition, exercise and fitness and hygiene environment.
Quiz Club
Quizzing the enrichment and better understanding world whole. quiz activities initiate with the budding aims sharpen students quizzing skills. The Quiz is to update knowledge the students various fields like academic, general knowledge, analytical abilities, quantitative reasoning etc.
Sports Club
The Sports club is committed to provide a healthy sporting habit among the at work, coordination among diverse ethnic groups and infuses discipline the value system one individual. Value time, precision competitiveness are major learning points apart from communication, coordination teamwork.
Art & Craft Club
Art & Craft just fit in together with a different process holds creation. Art involves an unstructured activity where children can explore and create anything with their maginations; however, craft involves a structured activity it perceives goal in mind. Students derive important advantages from working in art and craft projects, therefore having an art and craft club in our school proves to be a benefit to the student and their parents.
